Hi fans,
Well, my mom was so busy yesterday with our nephew Justin coming in town from Las Vegas and sister Deborah and having lunch with them in the Marina, she totally "left me" out of the equation and forgot to pick me up after lunch and let me join them on their adventures outside in the gorgeous Marina Del Rey air! Well....truth be told....Justin didn't want to go back home and just walked directly to Burton Chase Park where they got involved in a free Boat Show and seeing all the gorgeous boats and booths near the channel. My mom, who is a total klutz, tried to board a gorgeous yacht
and didn't bend down far enough and banged her head hard into the door of the entrance! The owner was beside herself and hurried and got my mom an ice pack and had her sit in the cabin and put ice on her head! My nephew Justin and Deborah, after seeing that accident happen, did not feel like coming aboard and waited until mom could see straight and get out of the boat! Then, they decided to take a lovely water taxi tour around the channel and hear the whole history of Marina Del Rey. Again, may I remind you: I was NOT included! So, she came home 4 hours later, tried to make it up to me but I was having none of it!
So, today, Sunday she did take me, her good friend Ellen and her to the Burton Chase Park for a "do-over"! This time, baby stroller in tow....they rolled me around the park and we had a great time. A dog agility class was going on and we looked to see if my old teacher was teaching the class from my puppy school, but it was a different woman. Then, we went back in the car, drove to Starbucks near Venice Beach, they have iced coffee and we strolled along the boardwalk. Ellen was on a mission to find a sun visor as she plays loads of tennis. Since I was in the baby stroller, 100's of people kept stopping us and taking loads of photos of me as I'm , as you know one of the cutest, most outgoing Frenchies I know of! I love to ham it up! Ellen finally said: "Okay"! Enough photos...let's get moving. We found some baseball caps for her husband, a visor for Ellen and everyone was happy! We strolled back down the boardwalk, I jumped out and walked about 50 feet and did my thing. Wow! It's so much more fun to be pushed around like the King of England on my throne! Doesn't everyone drive around in a baby buggy?!
xoxo

Catching up! My birthday was April 26, 2014
Phew! My angel Wendy Nan Rees just helped me figure out how to get back into my blog! Sorry, I'm an Angel Therapy dog....not a computer wiz!
Well, mom was out of town, of all things for a week in Cancun to get away from the grind of work! She had a blast, apparently, without me. While gone, she brought in a lovely babysitter who was with me night and day and loved me very much! I got to wrap Sherry around my paw and showed her where I love to walk, took her to the barber shop and Dogromat to get special treats. I had a total field day with her. Mom was a bit shocked to see me the evening of my birthday when her plane flew in on April 26, 2014. I had gotten the babysitter to get me so many treats (she bought me two huge bags of treats) and 8 adorable squeaky toys and balls which was fabulous. I had gained over a pound! On a 23 pound dog...that is alot! So, I looked like a little pig racing happily around the house, chasing my new squeaky balls and having the time of my life! I barely noticed mom walk in from the airport at 9:00PM. I was happy to see her, but had a blast.
While away, I was up for a job but because the pay was not up to par, we decided to pass. Then, the next day, mom looked at my ear and I had developed a "boo-boo" on my ear ...better known as a blod clot that had to be removed. Poor mom, she was beside herself, but got me into the vet and they said it is common....and could be 100% removed surgically. While under, she had them do everything as Frenchies are not good breathers, so it's not good to do too many surgeries. She had them clean my teeth, remove a mole on my back and a skin tag. I came out with a cone on my head. She asked the vet when she came to pick me up: Did Rocky bark alot in the cage? They laughed and said: "Absolutely not!" He is just talking and mumbling to us! He wants to go home!" I came out of there looking like an Iraq war vet with a huge ace bandage covering my head and ear and stitches in my back. She gave me pain pills twice a day and medication to prevent infection. I was, however, happy as a lark to get out of there. She fed me by hand in the cone and I was the perfect patient. Two weeks later, bandage is gone, ear is perfect and I'm ready for work! Okay, Hollywood....I'm ready for my photo shoots and commercials! Bring them on......
